Nobody wakes up wanting to talk about money and mortality in the same conversation. I bring both up anyway, because the plan that protects your family when you're gone should also be working for you while you're still here.
Most people come to insurance already bracing for a sales pitch. I don't lead with price, and I won't rush you to a number before we've talked about what you're actually protecting: a business you built, kids who still need you, a spouse who shouldn't have to figure out your finances while grieving you.
Twenty years in banking, small business consulting, and investment work taught me that no two people need the same plan. I don't start with a product. I start with actually understanding your situation. From there, the plan is built around you: it usually includes living benefits you can access while you're alive, and it always includes making sure there's a legacy in place and your family is taken care of when you're gone. We'll still talk about death directly when it matters, because softening the word doesn't soften what happens without a plan. It's part of the conversation, not the whole thing.
A plan built once, under pressure from a salesperson, isn't a plan. It's a policy nobody remembers signing. What I build works two ways: it's there for the people you love later, and it can build wealth you can use now.
Term and permanent life insurance, annuities, and the living benefits and legacy planning built around them.
See what's included →Commercial property, home, auto, and life coverage handled together, so you're not piecing together policies from people who've never talked to each other and don't know your whole situation. One point of contact who actually sees the full picture.
Key person coverage, buy-sell agreements, and coverage types built for what your business actually needs. This is the fastest-growing part of my practice.

Book a session →I've been helping people protect their finances for more than 20 years, across banking, small business consulting, investments, and insurance. I started Unshaken Legacy Planning because I kept watching good people get sold a product instead of getting a plan.
I do this work because I lost my daughter unexpectedly. Nothing prepares you for that, and nothing about the days after gets easier just because you didn't see it coming. I found out fast how much harder everything is when there's no plan in place, no conversation that had already happened, no answers waiting for the people left behind. That's the real reason I sit down with families and business owners and ask the hard questions before life forces the question on them. I'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation with you today than watch your family piece something together without one.
